competition rules



  • General Provisions

    The following rules apply to every competition. Specific rules for each competition will be rolled out before each they launch and those need to be followed as explained in addition to these ground rules.


  • Selling Experience

    Rookie

    • A Rookie is generally a sales representative that has sold door-to-door for less than a cumulative time period of 2 weeks or sold more than 40 pest control accounts , 15 alarm services, or 25 satellite deals prior to 2020.

    Veteran 

    • A Veteran is generally a sales representative who does not meet the rookie requirements, and is not a Pro.

    Pro

    • A Pro is generally a sales represantive who has, in a single season, sold either 300 pest control accounts, 150 alarms, or 200 satellite deals prior to 2021.
  • Selling in assigned market

    No accounts sold outside of assigned summer market will count towards any competition or scoring.

  • Checklist

    Only accounts where the welcome call has been completed will count towards scoring.


  • Auto-pay

    Only auto-pay accounts will count towards any scoring for any competitions.

  • Selling good accounts

    No accounts that are sold outside of pricing guidelines or minimums will count towards any competition or scoring.

  • Sand Bagging

    Sand bagged accounts are accounts that the contract was signed more than 3 hours previously to when it was submitted/scheduled. If a sales representative is found to be sand bagging, the sales representative may not allowed to participate in the following compeitions.

  • Flying people out for the competition

    Reps that have not sold two full weeks prior to August cannot count their numbers in the main event at the end of the summer.

  • Prizes during or after the summer

    All prizes will generally be given out during the Summer or after the Summer on Prize Day.

  • Dinner Incentives

    Dinner incentives are generally all or nothing, meaning that the dinner incentives are awarded to the whole team and not on an indivudual basis.
